Public Officers: Minors.

Abstract

Existing law provides that a public officer who is a minor shall have the rights and liabilities of an adult, both civil and criminal, with regard to that public officer's official duties, and a candidate for nomination or election to public office who is a minor shall have the rights and liabilities of an adult, both civil and criminal, with regard to that candidate's activities as a candidate. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
