Governmental tort liability: agreements between public entities.

Abstract

Existing law governs the tort liability and immunity of, and claims and actions against, public entities and their officers and employees. Existing law provides that public entities that enter into an agreement are jointly and severally liable for injury caused by a negligent or wrongful act or omission occurring in the performance of that agreement. Existing law defines "agreement" for purposes of these provisions. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
