Pupil instruction: adult schools.

Abstract

Existing law requires the State Department of Education to establish standards including standards of attendance, curriculum, administration, and guidance and counseling service for classes for adults as a basis for several apportionments of state funds provided for these classes. Existing law requires the Superintendent of Public Instruction to prepare, distribute, and maintain a detailed handbook, as specified, for use by the local educational agencies. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
