State lands: school lands revenues.

Abstract

Existing law requires all net revenues, moneys, and remittances from the use of school lands and lieu lands, except as specified, to be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Teachers' Retirement Fund and expended pursuant to specified provisions. This bill instead would require all net revenues, moneys, and remittances from the use of school lands and lieu lands, except as specified, to be deposited in the State School Fund and expended for the benefit of pupil instruction.
