Abstract

Existing law provides for the enforcement and collection of certain licensing fees, taxes, and charges levied by the state, and defines various terms for these purposes. Existing law authorizes an officer, as defined, to bring suit on behalf of the state against certain taxpayers to collect certain licensing fees, taxes, and charges owed to the state. This bill would modify the definition of officer to include secretary.
