School-to-Career Program.

Abstract

Existing law requires the State Department of Education to administer the School-to-Career Program, and to serve certain roles with respect to administering the program, including developing or participating in the development of specified accountability measurements, awarding grants to eligible qualified applicants, providing technical and professional assistance to all local partnerships, consulting and offering advice to partnerships, and providing an informational link where local partnerships can collaborate and exchange successful and innovative methods and ideas. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
