Business: mail solicitations.

Abstract

Existing law requires a person who sends a solicitation by mail soliciting the recipient to consent to receive information by telephone to disclose specified information, including, without limitation, the telephone number to which calls are to be placed. This bill would permit the solicitor to comply with this requirement by providing a space on the mail solicitation for the consumer to provide his or her telephone number to the sender of the mailing.
